Hired Attorney Timothy Michael Shay

Mr Shay handled my workers compensation case. I was a fool to try to work with the workers comp insurance company at first. After being without Temporary Total Disability benefits for almost 3 months, I needed help. I was glad I found Timothy Shay.
He advertises that he is aggressive and will work for the best results for his clients. That is no lie as I had my TTD back pay within a week! Mr Shay is very knowledgeable and competent in the work comp laws and has a attitude of no nonsense when it comes to dealing with the opposing lawyers.
Yet he is extremely personable and helpful to his clients. He was always patient to answer all of my questions and would spell out my options and advise appropriately. Communication with his clients goes far and above his duty as I would get emails from him personally after hours and on the weekends. This led me to understand how hard Tim Shay works for his clients! His hard work paid off as I received a settlement far larger than I ever expected. If you need a good attorney, I highly recommend Tim Shay!

Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.

• Notable: This rating indicates that the lawyer has been recognized by a large number of their peers for strong ethical standards.

Lawyers who have received peer reviews after 2009 will display more detailed information, including practice areas, summary ratings, detailed numeric ratings and written feedback (if available). Details for individual reviews received before 2009 are not displayed.
