He did a fine job. Only objection the exhusband did not pay the $500 lawyer fee that it was decided he should give me and when I asked about this I was told it would cost me another $1300 to file a paper to make him pay it
Hard to get some communication back from him. His assistant is excellent and extremely helpful, but there are some questions she just can't answer. Granted, I was living in a separate state from the proceedings, so local people who can pop into the office may have better luck. Offered a flat rate for the divorce representation, which was nice, but it felt a little like, since he already had all the money, there wasn't any real incentive to hurry things along. Not bad, but probably not the best.
He worked with me on the financial aspect of obtaining his services initially, however as our case dragged on and my finances were just not available he was much less responsive and willing to work with me on my personal requests in family court paperwork even though he was well aware of my financial state from the beginning.
Brendon Delaney is the most unethical unhonest lawyer I could ever imagine hiring . Not only is he a terrible lawyer in the court room w a deer in the headlights look 24-7 he's downright scared to take a aggressive approach so much it seems he worked more for my ex wife . He's a joke of a lawyer and actually lied so much to me I don't know how he is still in business . Before hiring this crook go start a fire and take your money and throw it in the fire you will get more use out of your money !
Frequently did not return phone calls, allowed a deadline to pass without addressing it, was often terse and short with me when I had questions, actually raised his voice at me when I was especially concerned. If I had had the money to seek other counsel I would have done so, but Mr. Delaney gets his money up front for the entire case.
