Hired Attorney Andrea Halpin

Ms.Halpin handled my child custody case in 2002-2003. Her service and performance were exemplary.
While she hesitated to take the case because she feared becoming emotionally involved,she ultimately did take the case and absolutely nailed it. The result is a fine young lady, my daughter, who consistently made honor roll in school, married a fine young man and has given us three beautiful granddaughters, all well behaved and well taken care of.

Hired Attorney Andrea Halpin

Halpin deserves a 0. She is nothing short of incompetent in our case. Her communication is non-existent; she doesn't answer her e-mails and doesn't return calls. She is a limited guardian ad litem for a family member of which I am the legal guardian, and has only met her protected person twice, for only a few minutes. The second time she checked on her client was within an hour of having to testify in court about said client! Halpin has been unprofessional, ill-prepared, and non-communicative.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
