About Alexander Jiayu Zhong

Alexander "Jiayu" Zhong, Esq., represents clients in personal injury and criminal defense and is admitted in Maryland and D.C. After receiving a full scholarship and the TechLaw Fellowship, he completed his J.D. at the University of Arizona in 2021—one semester ahead of his peers. His academic background includes a B.S. from Tsinghua University (1998) and M.S. degrees in Genetics (2001), Molecular Biology (2005), and Mathematics (2009). He gained practical experience through clerkships at two top Maryland firms and subsequently brought more than 200 clients to practice while working as an attorney. Mr. Zhong’s five-year tenure at GEICO, multiple insurance licenses, and his 2012 300-page guide Risk Management for Driving in the USA inform his comprehensive approach to post-accident recovery. A community advocate, he co-founded the Association for Education Fairness and serves on the board of the Chinese American Parent Association of Montgomery County. The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database.
