About Zabrina B Delgado

Zabrina Delgado, a first-generation American, was deeply influenced by her father, an attorney who primarily served local Spanish-speaking migrant workers in rural Eastern Washington. Through his work, Zabrina was exposed to the struggles of marginalized individuals who often lack the resources and knowledge to navigate the intricacies of the legal system. His commitment to justice and his clients left an indelible mark on her and led her to pursue a career in law.Upon graduating law school, Zabrina’s goal was to advocate for individuals facing legal challenges against large entities. Coupled with a passion for litigation and trial advocacy, Zabrina began her career in North Carolina representing people who were grievously injured at work due to the wrongful acts of their employer. This experience in North Carolina, a particularly challenging state for people seeking justice, allowed her to witness first-hand the grasp that large entities have on the legal system and the barriers to justice that target already marginalized individuals. In 2018, Zabrina and her family decided to return home to Washington State. To further hone her litigation skills, Zabrina joined a regional civil litigation firm. There she broadened her skill set by gaining experience navigating the intricacies of the risk-analysis frameworks considered by national corporations involved in lawsuits while serving as a composed presence for her clients. Through this experience, Zabrina became deeply familiar with the perspective of the entities often challenging her clients. This perspective informs the recommendations Zabrina provides to her individual clients and the strategies she undertakes throughout the development of her clients’ cases. Now, at PCVA, Zabrina focuses on advocating for survivors of sexual abuse, catastrophic injury and wrongful death, aiming to give individuals and families a chance for justice and closure. During the pendency of her clients’ cases, she aims to ensure that her clients’ voices are heard. To that end, Zabrina meets clients where they are emotionally, and linguistically, with an ability to converse with her clients in Spanish and Portuguese to the extent it is necessary. It is Zabrina’s hope that her clients consider her a trusted, steadfast and empowering presence during one of the more difficult moments in their lives.
