About Steve H Spiegelman

Welcome to the law office of Steve Spiegelman. I have been a Northern California native for 64 years. I was born in San Francisco in 1955 and moved up to Sonoma County with my family in 1957.

I attended night school at Empire School of law in Santa Rosa California and passed the bar in 1994. I worked on my law degree while raising 3 children and working a full time job.

I have practiced law in Sonoma County, Marin County, Mendocino County, Shasta County, Trinity County, Tehama County, Colusa County, Sacramento County and Placer County. I have also had Federal cases in Oakland and San Francisco.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
