Raised in Los Angeles by parents who emphasized service and hard work, Omar Habbas built a legal career focused on helping people rebuild after life-changing injuries. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of the Pacific and his law degree from Santa Clara University, started as an associate with William McCann, became a junior partner, then launched his own firm in 1988. Omar’s practice covers catastrophic injury, wrongful death, defective drugs and devices, roadway defects, and related litigation. Outside the office he is devoted to family—wife Rio and children Tarik, Alexandria, and Nicholas—and to fitness and travel; he competed in bodybuilding in his youth and still trains regularly. Philanthropy is central to his work: he supports shelters, educational institutions, hospital charities, and youth programs, and serves on Santa Clara Law’s Board of Visitors. Omar blends vigorous representation with personal care so clients understand their options and secure the best possible recovery.
