The Law Offices of Del Ponte and Hirz specializes in Family Law and Estate Planning issues. Our firm has practiced in the San Jose area for 30 years offering personalized, caring assistance with all family law matters. We handle divorce, dissolution of marriage, domestic partnership issues, child custody, child visitation, child support and spousal support as well as domestic violence matters. We handle matters that are uncontested as well as those requiring aggressive representation. We offer a free 1 hour consultation. We also handle family law, dissolution of marriage, divorce, child custody, child support and other related matters in neighboring Santa Cruz and San Benito counties. Our firm was founded in 1978 and represents family law clients throughout the Bay Area. We provide professional, compassionate and aggressive representation with an emphasis on helping our clients understand the complexities of the law and reach the desired result.

We provide a free 1 hour initial consultation in an attempt to answer your questions so you will know your rights and make appropriate decisions about your Family Law matters.

When you are faced with the challenge of choosing counsel, please understand that the review of personal experience is an invaluable resource. I asked if I could send this review, as I felt compelled to help anyone that was in a similar situation. I truly understand the emotions that go into even filling for divorce. The decision is made more difficult because then you have to pick the right attorney! I’m convinced that Chris Hirz is the right choice the first time!

Few things about Chris I have been very impressed with -
(a) Honesty and transparency - He was upfront about estimated time, costs and the plan. I got the judgement he promised, well with-in the estimated time and at a lower cost.
(b) Very smart and knowledgeable. He is at the top of his profession.
(c) Responsive and proactive with communication. I was never left wondering about what is happening with my case.
(d) A great person. Understood the emotional situation and offered great advice.
