Dawn Delia is the founder of Delia Law, where she focuses on helping individuals and businesses address complex IRS tax issues. Ms. Delia earned her B.A. from Southern Methodist University and her J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law, with an emphasis on business and federal taxation law. Beginning her career as a commercial business litigator in Washington, D.C., she later practiced in New York City at Paul Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, representing multinational corporations in financial audits, tax analysis, and commercial litigation.
Ms. Delia is licensed under IRS Circular 230 to represent taxpayers before the IRS nationwide, holding active bar memberships in California, New York and Maryland. Additionally, she is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court, handling federal tax cases across all 50 states.
In 2011, Ms. Delia founded Delia Law to provide personalized support for clients facing IRS tax challenges such as liens, wage garnishments, unfiled returns, and audits.
