I was snowboarding at PCMR on 2/20/20 when I was struck from behind by a ski instructor. The collision dislocated my right shoulder and tore my left MCL. I met with Darwin on 3/13/20 and he agreed to represent me. For the next 3 months I got nothing. I tried to reach Darwin multiple times to get an update on the status of my case by calling his office and his cell phone, leaving voice mails, leaving messages with his receptionist, leaving messages with his answering service, texting and emailing. He finally called me on April 23 for the first time saying that he was working on it but didn’t have all my medical records yet. On May 6 I emailed him requesting an update and he replied with the following statement, “Records requests have gone out and we are waiting for the medical records and bills. I anticipate records being in by the end of the month and I imagine it taking long to review them and prepare the demand letter." I never heard from him again and it is now 3/13/21.
