I was blessed to find Diana.She is a great listener ,very knowledgeable and she will explain in steps the options and what needs to be done based on your case.She will go above and beyond to make sure her clients are happy!I recommend her 100%.

She was selected by her friend from law school. She lied to the court, claiming a 10yr old was in his mother's lap when he visited her office. The child was assaulted by his mother and Telfer remained silent - covering it up. The children do not want to be with their mother and she remains silent. One is put on medication while with his mother and she remains silent. It is a very toxic environment and Telfer enables it. Even when the court orders that the children not be put in the middle of things and the mother continues to violate - Telfer enables it. She is very dishonest and charges a lot to look into things...but then remains silent... even when she's aware of mental health issues from the mother. I do not recommend her if you need someone with integrity.

I hired Diana and while my divorce was finalized quickly, I had to constantly follow up with her and fix errors in her paperwork, filings, emails, etc... The only thing I was fighting for was to not pay my ex-husband alimony. Her advice and counsel was poor and I ended up paying alimony, even though I shouldn't have. The day of mediation she told me she hadn't slept the night before because the opposing counsel got into her head. Even after a bad divorce process, I hired her to do my estate planning. It took months. I got an excuse after excuse why it took so long. I recently reached out to her again to ask about modifying the alimony agreement and expressed my displeasure about the mediation process (not her, I said I was upset with the process and outcome) and she told me to find another lawyer. I would advise others to do the same.

She refuses to speak for children. When a mother lies, Telfer covers it up. When the children are in a toxic environment and have been harmed by their mother in several ways, Telfer covers it up. When a child is assaulted my his mother multiple times, Telfer covers it up. When the mother cuts the children off from their friends for over a year, Telfer is so corrupt she covers it up. When the therapist recommends both parents be involved in the children's therapy, Telfer covers it up. She's as crooked as they come, enabling harms to those she is sworn to protect and represent - two children. All while telling lies to the court including pretending a tall 10 yr old was sitting in his short mom's lap in her waiting room, so the kids are fine. The dcfs reports are the exact opposite of what Telfer tells the court. She cannot be trusted.

She lies a lot. She claims a tall 10 yr old was sitting in his mom's lap, so he was fine even as he's telling CPS he's scared of his mom and was assaulted by his mom. A child, whom she claims to represent, called her to meet with her. A follow up email was sent. Days later she claimed he never reached out to her. I sent her the screen shot of the phone call and she claimed she had phone issues. Yes, that's incredibly incompetent since she received an email, claims to know of phone issues and in 3 days checked nothing? The CPS report proves she lied about everything and the kids are being harmed, so she hides behind "hearsay" to silence the children she claims to represent. The child requested his father be present. She's so corrupt and biased she's denying the request of her client. The mother is mentally ill, violating court orders constantly, and Ms. Telfer aids in covering it all up. She also sends confidential information to opposing counsel. Telfer is dishonest.

Diana does have extensive experience in family law. However, she uses that experience to navigate the legal system in a way that lines her pockets and makes her the most money, rather than focusing on the needs of her clients. She will make sure that your case drags on for at least 18 months, and she will do anything in her power to maximize billable hours. She does not care about you, your children. She does not care whether or not she wins or loses your case, and only cares about making as much money as possible from your case.

She dragged out the case as long as she could so she could charge me as much as possible. She gives speeches at lawyer conventions about dragging out cases just to have as many billable hours as possible. She doesn’t care about winning or losing. She doesn’t care about you, your children, or your time with those children. She only cares about money. Do not hire her. She will milk you dry just to line her own pockets.
