Bruce Mailman is a fantastic attorney and a very intelligent and well-spoken counsel. His office is impeccably run and his support staff are communicative and very helpful.
I had an appointment with Attorney Mailman for a consult on my lunch break and completely forgot until about an hour later. I drove to his office anyways and felt I needed to pay the consultation fee which I deemed only proper and to apologize and hopefully set another appointment. The receptionist went back to talk to him and he came out and said he "doesn't accept clients who don't have the courtesy to call or show up when they are going to miss the appointment. " Well if one forget their appointment they are probably not going to call because they "FORGOT" about their appointment. It's a human thing. Anyways I told him that I was sorry but that I did owe him for his time and set the consultation fee on the counter. I was really trying to be fair. He said, that it was an insult to him to give him the money. At that point I picked up the money and told him that I don't think I would want you for my lawyer anyways.
