Nancy B. Pridgen, Esq., founding member of Pridgen Bassett Law, LLC, focuses her practice on ERISA disputes and employment litigation in federal courts. With extensive experience across nearly every type of employment law matter, Nancy has handled cases involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment, unemployment, FMLA, FLSA, and ERISA/employee benefits. She also assists businesses, executives, and employees in navigating employment transitions, including severance negotiations and drafting new employment agreements. Nancy’s practice serves both employers and employees, offering strategic counsel tailored to their needs. A recognized expert in ERISA litigation, Nancy has litigated numerous employee benefits claims and fiduciary cases nationwide. She developed her ERISA expertise at Alston & Bird, where she handled complex class actions and pension and welfare benefit disputes. Nancy frequently writes and speaks on ERISA and employment litigation topics and has served as an officer in the Georgia State Bar Employee Benefits Section. Her litigation experience also spans commercial, securities, insurance, tax, and constitutional law.
Outside of work, Nancy is a proud wife and mother of four adult children. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and cheering on SEC football in the fall (WAR EAGLE!). Nancy also gives back through pro bono work, including handling low-cost adoptions.
