I retained him for representation to IRS - He did not represent me at all. Instead he used my money to check the math on my returns. I had to set up a payment plan with IRS - A better deal than he came up with. After he took my money, I was told I did not qualify for a "Offer of Compromise" because my income was too high. This is something he could have told me before I paid him. He refuses to refund any part of my retainer fee ($1600).
In my opinion, I would look for other estate planning attorneys. In my opinion, Fouts tries to use tactics to intimidate you into selecting higher priced options than needed. I only needed a simple Will, but he made comments regarding my potential beneficiaries that had no basis and in my opinion were an attempt to move me to a more expensive plan. I found a much better option in my opinion.
