Barry Mandelbaum is a founding member and Chairman of the firm and has more than six decades of legal experience.
Barry is a member of the firm’s Real Estate group and concentrates his practice on real estate development, land use, financing and commercial real estate, as well as corporate and transactional law. His corporate and transactional practice involves representing private and public corporations in all aspects of their business, including formation, due diligence, finance, mergers and acquisitions, and governance issues.
Barry was a member of the Governor’s Corporate and Business Law Commission, and the Board of Directors of Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield. He was a past director of two NASDAQ-traded firms, Warwick Insurance Managers, Inc. and Growth Bank, Inc., as well as privately held companies.
Barry is currently active in several charitable organizations and serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Real Estate Division of the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, a Trustee of the Codey Foundation for Mental Health and a Trustee of the Rubenstein Foundation. Barry serves as the Dinner Chairman for Cerebral Palsy of North Jersey Annual event.
He has been recognized and included on the Best Lawyers in America list*, Who’s Who in American Law, and the New Jersey Super Lawyer list*. In 2019, Barry was recognized as an NJBIZ Icon Award winner for his work growing the law firm, serving clients with dignity and respect for over 57 years and all his charitable endeavors.
