Hired Law Firm

We used this firm for closing on a property we purchased in July, 2021. They did not have time to take my call leading up to our closing, and did the very minimum to help us understand what was needed. Closing appeared to go well, however, five months later, we still had not received the deed to our property. When I called, I was told that we should have gotten it within a couple of weeks and they would have to look into it. They called back and said they had the deed, but couldn't find our file and didn't have our address to send us the deed (our home address is not the address of the property we closed on). After providing my address, the deed came within a couple of days. How does a law firm LOSE a file (the characterize it as "misplaced")? How do they not know how to google us to find our address? Such poor service! And that isn't even to mention the horrible artwork romanticizing the confederate army that hung ALL OVER the office! Ugh! Just ugh!
