Trey joined MSP Attorneys as an associate in 2020 following a summer of clerking at the firm during law school. In 2013, Trey left his hometown of Augusta to attend Berry College. While at Berry, Trey was a member of the inaugural football team, where he was a two time all-conference player on the school’s first conference championship team. In 2017 he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Finance.
After graduation, Trey attended Georgia State University College of Law where he graduated Cum Laude in 2020. Following his first year of law school Trey had the opportunity to use his finance background working for the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office in their White Collar Crime and Elder Abuse divisions. During his second year, he worked as a finance and economics tutor to Georgia State athletes and in the school’s Low-Income Taxpayer clinic providing free tax law services to low-income members of the community. Finally, in his third year Trey worked as Graduate Research Assistant where he contributed to books and articles regarding asset pricing models and the intersection of statistics and the law.
Trey and his wife, Megan, live in downtown Rome with their son, Jackson. In his free time, Trey enjoys the outdoors, cooking, reading, and watching sports.
