Hired Law Firm

I engaged the Salters for counsel in a bankruptcy. At first meeting, they appeared not only competent, but caring. That would soon be revealed to be false on both counts. Paperwork submitted to the courts included defects such as accounts not held by me, false valuations of property, payment plans they knew would be rejected. They consistently failed to respond to client questions, were base, derogatory, and abusive to the disabled. In the end, they left me halfway between a ch7 and 13, $2800 poorer, and with my home in jeopardy.

Hired Law Firm

A pathetic excuse for an attorney. I hired Salter to negotiate a plea deal to possibly a lesser charge. In 10 months after hiring, I was not able to speak to an actual attorney. When the court date finally came around, I got to speak to him for maybe 3 minutes before the case was called. He had already agreed with the prosecution to plead guilty with a $200 reduction in fines. His charge for saving the $200 was $1500. I could have walked in alone, pleaded guilty, paid the full fine and saved $1300. Total disgrace to his profession.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
