I had a very disappointing experience with Brian Gruber. He was dismissive, unprepared, and lacked a clear strategy for my son's IEP meeting. He refused to provide details about his approach and even suggested my argument might not prevail at the IEP meeting, while he offered NO argument, indicating no commitment to supporting my son. He boasts to have participated in over 1200 IEP meetings, spanning several states, and more than 24 different school systems, but he did not give me a single clear strategic direction on how he was going to handle the IEP meeting. After I insisted, it became apparent that he was just waiting for the IEP meeting to conclude so that the case can escalate into mediation, where he would have more reason to be involved, yet offered no assurance of success or preparation even then. His tone was condescending, and he made unprofessional comments, including sharing unverified gossip about me. I do not remommend him.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
