So I found Bethany Shechtel with BGS Law. In my opinion Bethany turned out to be the best Family Law Attorney in Montgomery County. Bethany quickly cleaned up all of the messes that were created by my previous attorney and got my cases back on track. Her support staff was excellent (Thank you Donna Sharon!) When COVID-19 hit & the courts closed Bethany was proactive to ensure that when the courts opened that we were ready to get the cases resolved quickly, cost effectively and as stress free as possible. Bethany was a life saver when I hired her! She has always responded back to all my questions in a reasonable time frame and helps break down EVERYTHING when I was confused. She put my kids first in every situation to make sure it was i the kids best interest and helped my whole divorce and custody battle process as smooth as possible!
I would never recommend Bethany for anyone. She has absolutely no compassion for the disabled. She will not communicate with you about anything Her divorce agreement was fraudulent No attorney client privilege No equality She is very gender and race bias She changed a city in pen on a financial background check because it was incorrect and Michael Dempshar accepted it She will not communicate with you on a divorce agreement In fact she doesn’t communicate with you on anything She told me to keep my mouth shut for when I wanted to talk to mediator She and Michael Dempshar create hate If you are a federal employee you are doomed with her She does not look out for her client She will lie to you about everything Please contact Lisa Fishelman at the md attorney grievance before you use this person Bethany just does not like working with disabled people Just not enough space to describe how bad my experience was
