Richard provided our family with outstanding elder care law and estate planning advice and counsel over the past 8 years. His many years of experience and the quality of his associates and support staff allowed us to successfully navigate complex end-of-life financial and legal issues in a manner that was a great comfort encouragement to us all. We highly recommend him.
Richard did an excellent job advising my parents and was of great assistance when I needed to settle my mother’s estate. He was recommended as the best estate attorney in Rochester and I absolutely believe that to be true.
I contacted Richard Kroll's office to inquire about the cost of a trust. He said that he didn't charge by the hour and would give me an inclusive flat fee after we had a telephone meeting to get all the information. He sent me a letter confirming the meeting and I faxed him financial information. At the meeting, he spent an hour asking for the same information I'd sent because he said my fax got lost, and selling what a great attorney he is. At the end he said he charged $8,500 for a trust. I thought that was too much. A week later he sends me a bill for $375 for the meeting. He never said anything on the phone or in his letter about a fee for talking with him. Be careful and don't trust this guy.
