Hired Attorney Joshua Kaplan

I read negative reviews stating upon payment he never finished nor returned people’s money. There were some good reviews so I decided to take a chance but concerned he only took cash Zelle or check. It was just a couple of thousand of dollars I decided to give him a try. Upon sending him $2150 cash retainer I never heard from him & after the 3rd day ended I called & emailed & left a truthful review he’d stolen my retainer & then he replied to the review he had no idea who I was, sinisterly while at the same time sending me an email threatening to sue me for slander if I don’t remove that review & wouldn’t refund me unless i wrote a letter saying I won’t leave any reviews he also refuses to send me my file. I informed him slander is a spoken word, it written & he’s thinking of libel (written) which my review did not meet any criteria of & informed him it’s illegal to threaten someone to remove a review. Out of room but will just say I think he’s a scammer, unethical & a thief.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
