Katherine Ann Kingren is a lawyer practicing criminal defense. Katherine has been licensed for 32 years. Katherine practices at Taggart, Rimes & Wiggins, PLLC in Ridgeland, MS.
Katherine was very good at providing hope, and only hope. For 2 years, she virtually held my hand during a time when I was being abused, stalked, and tormented by my ex. She always had the right things to say; and made me feel like he was going to be held accountable (at the least) for the things he was doing and the danger he was putting our child in. She never filed any motions first, she was actually so complacent throughout most of his antics. After many reset dates we finally landed our day in court; at which time she told me “we don’t want to throw mud”. She told me she had a “risk management hat on” .. I wasn’t a client who had risks to be managed at all, and we were locked and loaded with tons of damning evidence for opposing counsel. Katherine didn’t have that fight. She didn’t want to go the extra mile (even though she’d been paid at least 10k at this point). I’m not sure if she was intimidated by my ex, his lawyer, or simply just didn’t have the bite to match her bark.
Mrs kingren is the most incompetent waste of money I’ve ever dealt with in my life. She believes only women can be victims of abuse and misrepresented me because of it, rather than telling me to find someone else. She kept my money and gave up on me, and my kids whom I do not have custody of anymore. She should be investigated for ethics violations and I don’t know how she is able to still practice. I think she made a closed door deal with the other attorney for my head on a platter. The only person who suffers here is the kids who now live full time with an abusive alienating narcissist. Thanks Katherine.
