Union Carbide Corp. v. Nix, 142 So. 3d 374 (Miss. 2014). Prevailed on appeal in upholding a jury verdict that awarded damages for injuries caused by asbestos.
United States v. Gammill, (S.D. Miss. 2012). Represented clients in defense of Environmental Protection Agency allegations regarding contaminated property.
Dawson Farms, LLC v. BASF Corp.,(W.D. La. 2009). Successful representation of a commercial sweet potato farmer on claims for damages caused by a defective herbicide.

Mabus v. St. James Episcopal Church,13 So. 3d 260 (Miss. 2009). Successful defense of a priest on claims for fraudulent concealment
breach of fiduciary duty.
Continental Ins. Co. v. Emerald Star Casino Natchez(2007-2008). Successful defense of clients on business transactions involving the ownership
construction of a casino in Natchez. This litigation involved suits in state
federal courts in Mississippi, Louisiana
Florida.
Tellus Operating Group, LLC v. R&D Pipe Co.,259 Fed. Appx. 650 (5th Cir. 2007). Obtained a jury verdict in excess of $2 million for defective casing that was used in a gas well.
Speetjens v. Malaco, Inc.,929 So. 2d 303 (Miss. 2006). Successful defense of officers
directors in a long-running derivative action involving claims of breach of fiduciary duty
usurpation of corporate opportunities.
EOG Resources, Inc. v. Turner,908 So. 2d 848 (Miss. App. 2005). Obtained the reversal of a judgment against an oil
gas operator for damages allegedly caused bysurface operations to drill
oil
gas well.
Tritel, Inc. et al v. Sullivan,882 So. 2d 129 (Miss. 2004). Successfully compelled arbitration of defended claims of fraudulent concealment against a wireless communications company
its officers concerning a settlement agreement.
K. Stanley, Inc. v. Cason,614 So. 2d 942 (Miss. 1992). Obtained a reversal by the Supreme Court of a jury verdict that awarded damages that were claimed to have been caused by hydrogen sulfide odors from a saltwater disposal well.
Fritz v. FERC,876 F. 2d 1224 1224 (5th Cir. 1989). As part of a series of a long-running
ultimately successful suits in state
federal courts to recover for breach of a natural gas sales contract, we prevailed on setting aside order of the FERC that sought to invalidate the contract
the payments that were owed.
Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Corp. v. State Oil
Gas Board of Mississippi,474 U.S. 409 (1986). Representation of natural gas producers in ratable take litigation that was ultimately decided by the Supreme Court.

Buie v. Union Gas (2002). Defended a local gas distribution company against claims that a natural gas leak caused illnesses among local residents. The claims were settled on a favorable basis.
Compass Marine Underwriters, Inc. v. Lambert Fenchurch Marine Group Lmited.Mississippi federal district court (2001). Obtained a $2 million jury verdict for an insurance company's fraud
misrepresentations.
Stack v. Tenneco, Inc.Mississippi federal district court (1987). Obtained a $17.5 million jury verdict for a pipeline's breach of its natural gas purchase contract.
