We interacted with this attorney in connection with a residential real estate transaction in Connecticut, where he represented the buyers and we were the sellers, and would like to share our experience. During the course of the transaction, communication and coordination between parties were often challenging, which contributed to unnecessary friction in what is typically a more straightforward process. The overall tone of communication at times came across as dismissive rather than constructive or solution-oriented, which made it more difficult to reach efficient resolutions. In addition, there were repeated disagreements regarding several issues. While the transaction ultimately closed, the process felt more adversarial and less collaborative than is generally expected in standard residential real estate closings.
