Not only was D. Bernhardt an inept attorney, but an irresponsible fiduciary. For two weeks, he insisted funds were not paid; and yet, they sat in the firm's account unrecognized. An outside attorney had to fix his work. He got away with charging prime rates for the worst attorney work I have ever seen.
