Hired Attorney

Mr. Despotes allowed to make payments for my divorce; however he was very insensitive to the domestic violence aspects of it. I would not recommend him to women coming from these marriages or situations with children because he seemed really indifferent and did not really seem to try to "fight" for myself and my children's rights or safety. I guess as a bargain basement criminal lawyer, he would be good. I just got what I paid for so to speak.

Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
