I was referred to Mr. Raines by another malpractice attorney in San Bernardino County. This review is not regarding Mr. Raines… it is about his staff. When I called in, a man by the name of Mitchell answered the phone with the salutation “law offices”. After verifying I indeed had the correct office, I asked to speak to Mr. Raynes about a possible medical malpractice matter. Mitchell informed me I needed to discuss the case with him…he was also on a speakerphone. I jokingly asked him who he was…an attorney, paralegal, or legal assistant. He told me he was the office manager in a hostile / condescending tone, and demanded to know my name and phone number. When I expressed to him I was uncomfortable with his behavior, he hung up on me mid-sentence. Stay away from this law firm.
If I could rate Jeff Raynes a ZERO I would. Jeff represented me in a medical malpractice law suit. Over the course of years countless doctor visits, experts and negotiations the attorneys for the defense offered 180.000.00 Jeff said not to take it that this case was worth 350.000.00.
