Tracey A. Amundson is an associate at Maire & Deedon, with a practice emphasis in civil litigation, insurance defense, and personal injury. Ms. Amundson graduated from Red Bluff High School and received her undergraduate education at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, where she majored in History and minored in Law and Society. While at Cal Poly, Ms. Amundson participated in the Mock Trial team, was a member of the Phi Alpha Theta Academic Honors Fraternity and the Sigma Kappa Sorority. Ms. Amundson earned her Juris Doctor from Cal Northern School of Law in Chico, California, and graduated as the Salutatorian of her class in May 2016. Ms. Amundson passed the July 2016 California Bar Exam, and was admitted to the California Bar in June 2017. In February 2018 she was admitted to practice in United States District Court in the Eastern District of California. Before and during law school, Ms. Amundson worked as a legal assistant at an estate planning law firm in Chico, California. There, she gained knowledge and experience with estate planning, trusts, wills, probate, trust administration, and transactional business law. Following graduation from law school, Ms. Amundson worked at a general practice firm in Red Bluff, California. Her emphasis at the general practice firm was in estate planning, trust administration, probate, all aspects of family law, workers’ compensation law, and general civil litigation. Ms. Amundson is a member of the Shasta-Trinity Counties Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Lawyer-Pilots Bar Association, and the Association of Defense Counsel. Ms. Amundson spends most of her free time with her fiance, Chris, and their dog, Eve- usually flying around with Chris in their Piper Comanche 250, spending time at their hangar, or at the local FBO. Ms. Amundson is currently in ground school and working on obtaining her own pilot's license with her eye on one day owning a Piper Supercub.
