Thomas Schiro is an experienced civil litigator and an associate at the Ricci Law Firm, P.A. Mr. Schiro is committed to securing justice for those who need it the most and represents injured persons against powerful corporations and insurance companies in catastrophic automobile accidents, mass torts, premises liability, wrongful death, medical malpractice and other personal injury matters. Now practicing at the Ricci Law Firm, P.A. after many years in New York, his goal is to serve as a fierce advocate for injured residents of North Carolina and provide support to his clients navigating the legal process.

Since the inception of his legal career, Mr. Schiro has solely represented injured plaintiffs. He has tried numerous cases to verdict and has achieved significant verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients.

Mr. Schiro has been featured in interviews by ABC News, NBC News, and Spectrum News for representing plaintiffs who have been severely injured from car wrecks, medical malpractice, and defective products.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Mr. Schiro completed his undergraduate studies at Ramapo College in New Jersey before earning his Juris Doctorate at New York Law School. While in law school, Mr. Schiro was a member of the Trial Advocacy Team, was the President of the Italian Law Students Association, and clerked with the Honorable Arthur J. Schack in Kings County Supreme Court.

Mr. Schiro met his wife, a Chapel Hill, North Carolina native, in law school. In 2019, they moved to Chapel Hill, North Carolina to continue their careers and start a family. In his spare time, Mr. Schiro likes to exercise, spend time with his wife, travel and root for the New York Rangers and the New York Yankees.
