Suzanne Patinella is a partner in WSHB's Raleigh office, where she represents clients in complex civil litigation across North Carolina.

Suzanne is a graduate of Elon University School of Law, where she completed an accelerated 2.5-year program. Suzanne graduated from Elon University's Martha & Spencer Love School of Business with an MBA in May 2021.

At Elon Law, Suzanne was actively involved as a Business fellow, Moot Court Board member, and Women's Law Association member. She also served as her class's student bar association representative, student mentor, and student teaching aid. As a member of the Moot Court Board, she participated in a national moot court competition under the direction of her coach, the Honorable G. James Exum, Jr.

Suzanne is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and Wake County Bar Association, where she has helped organize firm food and clothing drives.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
