I originally met with Albert Lepore and he told me he was going to be handling my case. Instead he gave it to an associate, Alberto Conti, who acted as if he knew nothing about Temporary Disability. When I asked him questions he couldn't give me an answer right away he always had to "get back to me". When my case was ending I asked him when I could file for unemployment and he told me to wait. He was wrong and I lost 3 weeks of unemployment payments!!

If you are looking for someone who will drag your case out for max dollars and put forth as little effort as possible for you, than Cioa & Lepore are who you want. You are just a dollar sign to them, they have a bunch of clients and work with unions therefore they don't really care about the small cases as much, unless there is a good hunk of change involved.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
