Mr. Platnick is extremely knowledgeable, professional and kind, and was a pleasure to work with. During my divorce it was evident that he was a no-nonsense, no-game playing gentlemen, and the judge appreciated that and the case was wrapped up as quickly as it could have. Mr. Platnick was always straight forward and made everything easy to understand. I had researched and found his fees were fair, so I was able to afford my divorce without feeling a financial pinch. It's clearly not about the money for him. His response time to my calls and questions was very quick and I never once felt like I was a bother or that I was being put off. Scott and Geoff worked with me on my divorce and their strengths are in their knowledge of Maryland law, peers, judges and were organized and prepared for all the mediation and court dates. However, if you are divorcing as a victim of physical and/or emotional spousal abuse, I cannot recommend them. I would suggest seeking a lawyer who understands mental illness and the trauma that goes along with years of abuse.
