Hired Attorney Mr. Joseph McDonald

This was not a case but could have been. I had failed to do my due diligence on an annuity into which I was placed by a "financial planner," and the annuity's issuer repeatedly failed to provide me with a printed contract. I then discovered that company had an horrific "customer service record, including a recent $90 million payment on a class action lawsuit against it. To make a long story short, Joe gave me good advice on how to get my money back, which I did and thanked him for, whereupon he charged me a minimal amount for his time and good advice.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
