I expect to pay for professional time and skills, but this attorney did everything she could to provoke, protract, and create problems in an already difficult situation so she could bill more. Her communication was inconsistent, mostly with her paralegal, and she did as little as possible. Her representation was sloppy, insensitive, and uncaring in a case that included domestic abuse and child endangerment. It seemed more like she was working for my ex’s best interests than mine and the kids. She allowed opposing counsel to run the show and didn’t even present police reports…but she had no problem presenting her bills. During our trial she even raised her rates and threatened to withdraw if I did not pay, which is also completely unethical.

Jensen was misleading and charged too much. They made my case more difficult and I would not recommend.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
