Hired Attorney

I had the misfortune to be in the need of an attorney who could help me with a very unfortunate legal situation. As a Law Enforcement Officer, I had no idea on how to hire an attorney to help me with an upcoming indictment for a very serious felony charge. I contacted my FOP representative and was directed toward the Law Offices of Daniel (Dan) Thenell. I called Dan late at night and he responded to my call with a very high level of professionalism and care. Speaking with Dan helped me to calm down and deal with the situation at hand. Throughout the pretrial months, Dan and his office stayed in constant touch. With his extensive knowledge, we planned and executed a very effective defense. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
