Hired Attorney

I hired Blake Dore of Dore Law Firm to represent me in a traffic case in Clackamas County Justice Court. Based on my experience, Blake Dore came to court without having adequately prepared or developed arguments for the case. I was informed for the first time shortly before the hearing that he believed the County’s case was “bulletproof,” with no advance discussion of strategy or whether proceeding to trial made sense. After the hearing, I asked why certain arguments were not raised, particularly those based on the correct revision of the manufacturer’s manual corresponding to the radar unit used in my case. Blake Dore acknowledged those arguments were not made and explained that decisions were driven largely by how he believed the judge would react. I was also not contacted after trial and did not learn the case was lost until 17 days later through the firm’s portal. Based on my experience, I would not recommend hiring Blake Dore.
