Michaela C.F. Sanchez is an Associate in the firm’s West Palm Beach office. Her practice focuses on medical malpractice defense.
Ms. Sanchez attended Florida International University (FIU), where she earned a Bachelor in Communication Arts, magna cum laude, and a minor in Marketing. She also earned her Juris Doctor from FIU in 2021. During law school, Ms. Sanchez was on the Dean’s List for multiple semesters, was a Full Dean Scholar, was the class representative for the Student Federal Bar Association and the secretary of the Intellectual Property Student Association
Before embarking on her legal career, Ms. Sanchez worked in the entertainment industry in various marketing and promotions roles. As a Promotions and Publicity Account Coordinator at Allied Integrated Marketing, she created digital marketing campaigns on behalf of major studios and managed marketing events, including red carpets, talent appearances, and press tours.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Ms. Sanchez served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Laurel Isicoff at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Miami. Ms. Sanchez also worked as a Summer Associate at a law firm where she honed her legal research and writing skills by researching evidence issues and writing memoranda on motions interpreting contracts. She went on to work for a civil litigation firm as an Associate working on first party property matters.
