Sean Ketchel graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh in 2018 with a B.A. in Nonfiction Writing. He was shortly thereafter granted a Dean’s Scholarship to attend Duquesne University School of Law, where he earned his J.D. along with a certificate for concentration in Corporate Governance, Regulation, and Compliance in 2021.
During law school, Mr. Ketchel performed work for the Pennsylvania Innocence Project as a member of their legal internship program, preparing reports and updates and collecting and assembling trial records for persons seeking to have their convictions overturned. Mr. Ketchel also briefly interned with the Beaver County Office of the Public Defender to gain comfort and familiarity with the daily workings of the courts.
While studying for the Bar Exam, Mr. Ketchel worked as a law clerk for a small estate planning firm, performing client intake and drafting wills and land sale agreements, and performed administrative work for a large immigration firm.
Mr. Ketchel is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, and is a member of both the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Allegheny County Bar Association.
