About John L. Cullen III

Mr. Cullen is a 1999 graduate of Emory University where he earned a B.S. in Anthropology and Human Biology and received his law degree in 2002 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

While attending Emory, John was a four-year varsity letterman in baseball and was a member of the Lamda Alpha Honor Society. During law school, John completed an internship at Legal Aid Society for Children and worked as a law clerk for a local practitioner, focusing on family law and grandparents’ rights. John was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar and the U.S. District Court, Western District of Pennsylvania in 2002. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Family Law Section and Young Lawyers Division of the ACBA. He has served as the Co-Chair of the Professionalism and Ethics Committee of the ACBA Family Law Section and is also certified in collaborative law and mediation. John is also an active youth hockey coach and a Deacon at Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church. John was with the firm of Bunde, Gillotti, Mulroy & Shultz, P.C., from 2002 to 2018.
