Hired Law Firm

Shop around and avoid using Attorney Felkay as a closing attorney, especially with ReMax agents in Elizabeth, PA!! I was the seller in this transaction and was shocked when I received the HUD-1 for our buyers. I challenged his "junk fees" and even provided direct evidence that he was gouging the buyers and sellers by charging over $1,000 in excess fees, but it fell on deaf ears. I later found out that he has personal connections to the buyer's real estate agent and agency broker owner.

Ignorant seller who expected services for free. Fees are controlled by RESPA. Seller was charged $350.00 total for the new deed and his share of the settlement fee. This amount was $75.00 less than the estimate he received from his Realtor months ago.
