Ann Marie's practice focuses on commercial real estate and business transactions, in which she represents lenders, developers, landlords, tenants, and business owners. She assists clients with acquiring and selling commercial properties, including review of title, survey, and environmental due diligence. She represents lenders and investors in mezzanine loans and equity financing. Ann Marie also counsels landlords and tenants with office and retail leasing. Ann Marie's extensive real estate background enhances her ability to serve clients in a transactional capacity. Prior to becoming an attorney, Ann Marie served in various executive and leadership roles with commercial and residential brokerages and trade associations. While serving in those positions, she gained first-hand, practical expertise about issues impacting the real estate industry and developed strategic planning and problem-solving skills. Prior to joining Salmon, Lewis & Weldon, Ann Marie's practice focused on commercial litigation, employment and labor law, and real estate law. Her real estate litigation experience includes representing clients in title disputes, Americans with Disabilities litigation, lease disputes, and trustee sale disputes. Ann Marie also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Kent E. Cattani of the Arizona Court of Appeals, an extern at the Arizona Solicitor General's Office, and an extern at the Arizona Supreme Court Staff Attorneys' Office.
