Margaret Ryder is an Associate in the Labor & Employment group of the Philadelphia office. Before joining Margolis Edelstein, Margaret served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable M. Susan Sheppard, Presiding Judge of General Equity, serving the New Jersey Superior Court in Atlantic and Cape May Counties. During this time, she was trained as a court mediator and participated in Small Claims, Special Civil, and Landlord Tenant mediations to assist parties in reaching a resolution.
Margaret graduated from Widener University Delaware Law School. During her time in law school, Margaret served as a Staff Editor on the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law and worked as an intern for Delaware Law School’s Environmental and Natural Resources Law Clinic. She also completed judicial externships with the Honorable Bret M. Binder of the Chester County Court of Common Pleas and the Honorable Paul R. Wallace of the Delaware Superior Court, Complex Commercial Litigation Division. Prior to law school, Margaret graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from West Virginia University, where she majored in Criminology and minored in Law & Legal Studies and Psychology.
