Kennedy Murphy is an associate attorney at WSHB’s Seattle, Washington, office. She focuses her practice on complex civil litigation, with a particular emphasis on construction and development-related disputes, torts, and liability matters.
Kennedy earned her Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law, where she focused on intellectual property law. While in law school, she participated in the Ronald A. Peterson USPTO-Certified Trademark Clinic, where she worked with clients on trademark registration and protection. She also completed advanced coursework in intellectual property and privacy law.
Before joining WSHB, Kennedy practiced as a residential property attorney, representing clients in housing-related matters under Washington law.
Kennedy is committed to public service and pro bono work. She has volunteered with the King County Neighborhood Legal Clinics, assisting individuals with a wide range of civil legal matters. She currently serves as a volunteer attorney through the International Trademark Association Pro Bono Clearinghouse, helping individuals and nonprofit organizations register and protect their trademarks.
