How do I fight a car accident lawsuit when I was not the one at fault but was the one ticketed?

Personal Injury lawyer at Lapin Law Offices
Assuming you had car insurance at the time of the accident your car insurance company will handle the claim of the other driver. You should make sure you provide your insurance company the information about the accident (what happened; the damage; etc.) as well as the names of the people in your vehicle so your insurance company has the information necessary to fight the claim of the other driver.

How can you determine how much is your case worth?

Personal Injury lawyer at Carlile Craig, L.L.P.
What you where told is not correct. The amount of insurance available is a factor to consider but, by itself, is not determinative of the value of a case. It takes an attorney with experience to consider insurance, fault, damages, applicable law, venue, and several other factors. Ultimately your case is worth what it settles for or what a jury awards - everything else is only an estimate or best guess.
