What can I do if insurance won't pay for my accident?

Richard B. Jacobson

Many insurance companies have internal appeal processes. Check with the company. But if you were an excluded driver, then your chances of getting the company to pay are very small.

What happens after I was injured in an accident?

Christopher D. Morris
Answered by attorney Christopher D. Morris (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Lewis, Reed & Allen, P.C.
You should see an attorney. If you are uninsured you have no claim for any benefits under the Michigan no-fault act. On the other hand, there may be multiple sources of coverage that you are unaware of. If you can establish a serious impairment of an important body function you may have a claim against the driver but that usually requires much more serious injuries than being "disoriented".

Audrey Dawn Hayes

The question is:? Did you have liability insurance?? Call your insurance company to confirm coverage and if you had it, the company will provide you with an attorney.? If you did not have insurance, yes, you can get sued.
