Is the property owner liable for damage to my car that occurs at their property?

Answered by attorney Robert Morrison Lucky (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at The Lucky Law Firm, PLC
Yes, they may be liable for your damages. However, proof of who was responsible for the damages is necessary. Additionally, there are certain issues for which may exclude liability such as an "Act of God." You may wish to call the complex to find out who does their lawn care and give them a call to see if they will work with you to resolve the issue.

Who pays my medical bills if I fell at a department store?

James Peirce Kelaher
Answered by attorney James Peirce Kelaher (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Kelaher Law Offices, P.A.
If an employee of the department store knew about the leak, then you should consult a lawyer promptly. Hopefully, you got the name of the employee who made that statement to you. If you did not, then go back to the store and see if you can find that employee and get her name. That employee's statement puts actual notice on the department store, and they are responsible for your fall, the medical bills and even your pain and suffering. I would consult a lawyer in your area who has a good reputation for handling personal injury cases.
