It sounds like you may have a case. Did the oil change service company alert you to the leak? Did the engine completely lock up afterwards due to no oil in the engine? Was anyone injured as a result or are the injuries purely property related? I would certainly consider having a lawyer review all the available information and the specific damages resulting from the negligent behavior of the company.

If you are over 26 years of age, it is probably too late ( you have 5 years past your 31st birthday, unless you have a recently recovered memory of the abuse). If it is not too late, yes, you have a cases and by all means should consult an attorney. There is no statute of limitation on criminal charges. You should report it to law enforcement first.
