Am I entitled to any compensation if I fall and slip in a store because of a wet floor?

Bradley Williams Cornett
Answered by attorney Bradley Williams Cornett (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Ford, Howard & Cornett, P.C.
Slip and fall cases are very fact specific. Some plaintiffs recover on wet floor claims and others do not. You should speak with a reputable attorney about the exact details. Most attorneys will gladly provide a free initial consultation with no obligation.

Victum of crime matter/injury

Answered by attorney Kenneth G. Wincorn
Personal Injury lawyer at Law Offices of Kenneth G. Wincorn & Associates, P.C.
Your case needs investigation by an attorney. If the police policies on deadly force were not followed there may be libility for the city but many cities have notice requirements that limit recovery if they are not put on notice quickly.

Can I sue the babysitter for negligence?

Mark Joseph Leonardo
Answered by attorney Mark Joseph Leonardo (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Dordick Law Corporation
What did she do to cause the broken leg? If she was negligent in causing the injury, then yes; or if she knew he was engaging in a dangerous activity (e.g, jumping off the roof), and let it go on, then perhaps. But if your son was doing goofy stuff on his own, then you really have no claim against your sister. Since it happened at her house, her homeowners insurance should pay under the med-pay provision (usually around $5000) regardless of fault.
