What rights does my husband have if he was left a quadriplegic after a construction accident 21 years ago?

Mark Joseph Leonardo

There is much information needed to be able to answer your question. Not sure what you mean after four years yet the accident was 21 years ago. You really need to get a free consultation from a personal injury attorney and a worker's compensation attorney to ascertain the rights where all of the details can be discussed.

What steps can I take after being mistreated after surgery, from mediation to a catheter mishap to release before ready?

I am sorry to read all that you have been through. You would need to speak with a medical malpractice attorney, and obtain an Affidavit of Merit from another Doctor who would say that what you went through is the normal standard of care. There are many great Medical Malpractice Counsel in this State, in such places as Roseland, Princeton and Hackensack and Bergen. You definitely should consult with one of them.

What is the law of limitations on personal injury when the victim never filed a charge because he had no insurance?

Answered by attorney David W. Craig
Personal Injury lawyer at Craig, Kelley and Faultless LLC
It is likely 2 years from the day of the wreck since the injured party was 19 at the time of the injury. You should talk to an attorney to make sure there is no exception that applies.
